About It is important that university students can learn to accurately monitor and regulate their learning processes. Self-study skills such as planning, monitoring and regulation of the learning process are directly related to academic success and a prerequisite for lifelong learning (European Commission, 2015). Students often do not know why it is important for them to plan, monitor and regulate their own learning process. In addition, research shows that the most students have no knowledge of or adequately mastered learning and self-study strategies. This project, therefore, has developed a Study App that allows students to plan, monitor and regulate their own learning process.
